for daytime visitors to come and enjoy all the day’s events.

Wake up the bears with the WKDHS drum line band

so bring your noise makers to play along and wake up those sleepy bears. The weekend will be filled with music, fun and games all day. It’s a great way for first-timers to check out our campground. Kids can play at the playgrounds, on the jumping pillow, or participate in organized recreation games with the Rec staff.

Enjoy our first Bingo Bingo of the season

and our season opener, Glow Stick Parade and Lightshow. Kick off the season at our free Ice cream Social. Join us for a cone and start your camping season off right. For our weekend campers, settle in for the evening around the campfire or bring a chair and blanket to the field and enjoy a snack of hot popcorn while watching the first outdoor movie night under the stars.

Pudding eating contest!

Take a swing at the pinata and dive for candy. Come and roast marshmallows at the Jellystone family campfire with the rec team.  Craft a beautiful butterfly to satisfy your sweet tooth. We will be selling everything sweet to build your own candy Kabob or share it with a friend. ($) What will you win in our sucker pull?  There will be games and activities galore this weekend to work off all that sugar energy.

Yogi Bear sure will have to be careful not to pull any of his shenanigans.

Ranger Smith has come to visit us,

and he wants to celebrate all his favourite everyday heroes!

We will have visits from local heroes throughout the weekend. Keep on the lookout for Police cars, 

Firetrucks, Ambulances, Nurses, Doctors, and Military members.

Let’s take the time to thank and learn from

Firefighters, EHS urses paramedics, police officers, and our military members.

If you know of a camper who is an everyday hero to you, make a badge of distinction for them to wear as we celebrate all of the heroes in our life.

We are much safer knowing they are there to support us.

Decorate your face as your favourite superhero?

Maybe it’s spider-man or woman, the hulk, batman, or batgirl. Play games such as tug of war, complete an obstacle course, and test your strength at Hulk Smash! Bring your inner strength and become a superhero for the weekend and beyond!

(17) – Aug 30th, 31st & Sep 1st: Sports Fanatic (LWE-Long Weekend-LABOUR DAY-Sep. 2nd)

Enjoy all of our sporting and recreation events that will be sure to be a blast!

There will be soccer, volleyball, horseshoes, dodgeball, swimming and much more.

Campers of all ages will enjoy this event.

Don’t worry!

We will play bingo and light up the sky with a glow parade through the park, 

so,
